This policy explains how One Life Truck It, based in England, UK ("we", "us"), collects and uses your personal data when you visit onelifetruckit.com, buy from us or join our newsletter. We are the controller of your data under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

Orders: name, delivery and billing address, email, phone (if given), order details. Card details are handled by our payment providers; we never see your full card number.
Newsletter / free dog guide: first name and email address, plus whether you open or click our emails.
Contact form or emails: whatever you send us.
Browsing: device, browser, IP address and pages viewed, via cookies and similar technology (see Cookies below).

Who we share it with

Only with the companies that help us run the shop, under contracts that protect your data:

Shopify: our online store and checkout platform
Printful: makes and ships your order (receives your name, address and order items)
Payment providers: Shopify Payments and the other payment methods shown at checkout
Kit (ConvertKit): our newsletter service
Delivery couriers: to deliver your parcel
Analytics: Shopify's built-in store analytics

Some of these providers process data outside the UK, for example in the EU and the USA. Where they do, they use approved safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US data bridge.

We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Order records: 6 years, for tax purposes
Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe (then we keep only a suppression record, so we don't email you again)
Messages: up to 2 years after we last hear from you

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or move your data, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. Email onelifetruckitshop@gmail.com. We'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113). We'd appreciate the chance to sort it out first.
